2   MINISTRY ETHICS Ministry - diakonia - in simple terms (service) So ministry is basically about service, however this service is not just humanitarian service or charity, God must be at the centre of that service for it to qualify as ministry. So ministry ethics are moral principles and standards that govern the conduct and behaviour of ministers in carrying out their service in whatever capacity to the body of Christ and to humanity as unto God.
